Private Lesson Options
Students are assigned a weekly recurring lesson time during the school year. Summer lessons are booked through our app at your convenience.
The length of the lesson depends on the age and level of the student, but beginners typically start with a 30-minute lesson.
New students may choose between enrolling in weekly lessons or trying a 4-week trial lesson package.
Weekly, Recurring Lessons
Start off with weekly, recurring music lessons with your teacher.
This is the best way to ensure you have a spot on your teacher’s schedule, in contrast to a trial package.
You’ll attend lessons each week at the same time through the end of the school year.
4-Week Trial Package
If you’re not sure if you’re ready to begin lessons or you don’t have an instrument at your home yet, try a package of 4 consecutive weeks.
If at the end of the 4 weeks you want to continue, you’ll be assigned to the same lesson time and be expected to have an instrument at home.
Our office staff is ready to assist you in purchasing or renting an instrument.
Traditional Method Lessons
Traditional Method lessons are offered for students ages 5 to adult for piano, violin, viola, voice, guitar and trumpet.
Students get a weekly one-on-one lesson with an outstanding teacher.
Parents are encouraged to attend the lessons but not required.
Traditional Method lessons feature method books that teach children to read music and learn the technique of playing their instrument at the same time.

Suzuki Method Lessons
Suzuki Method lessons are offered for students ages 3-18 in piano, violin and viola.
Children ages 3-4 must enroll in Exploring Music for one semester and/or meet with one of our Suzuki teachers for an evaluation before being offered a lesson time. We want to make sure you are physically and developmentally ready to begin.
Suzuki students receive one private lesson and one group class weekly.
Suzuki students learn the technique of playing their instrument separately from reading music at first, and are taught by ear. Down the road, music reading is introduced when the student is ready to multitask.
Parents are required to attend every lesson and group class.
