Exploring Music: Level 2

Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders explore piano, singing, rhythm and music basics in our fun and engaging group class.

Level 2 is a diverse prep class that will get your child ready for private lessons or children’s choir down the road. Students will learn to play easy songs on the piano, sing do-re-mi, learn music symbols, and count rhythms in a play-based setting.

No home piano or practice is required.

Adults can choose to stay or drop off their children.

Grand Avenue students will be picked up and dropped off from their classrooms by our teachers.

Level 2 Class Times:

  • Wednesday 2:25-2:55 

  • Friday 3:00-3:30 

The school year has already begun, can I still sign up?

Absolutely! We welcome friends any time to our month-to-month group classes. If you begin in the middle of a month, we’ll prorate your first tuition payment.

Exploring Music is a small group class for young musicians to learn the basics of music, explore beginning piano, refine their singing skills, and set the foundation for future music lessons and ensembles.

Your child will love the weekly play-based classes with our highly skilled teachers.

Level 1 for preschoolers and Level 2 for kindergarten through 2nd graders offer individualized curriculums that have been carefully cultivated for their developmental stages.  Scroll down for specific descriptions of each level.

Class Dates:

Weekly September 11, 2023-May 30, 2024

Unlimited make-up classes within your class level.

 

No Class:

  • October 31, 2023 – evening classes only

  • November 20-24, 2023

  • November 28, 2023 – evening classes only

  • December 18, 2023-January 6, 2024

  • March 25-29, 2024

Tuition:

$25 per class, paid a month at a time.

Automatic payments will be processed on the 1st day of the month.

An enrollment fee of $25 will be added your first month of class.

Tuition is month-to-month with no long-term commitment. We require 30-days notice to withdraw from class and end your membership.

Exploring Music: Level 1

Preschoolers ages 3-5 explore piano, singing, rhythm and music basics in our fun and engaging group class.

Level 1 is a perfect introduction to music education, designed specifically for your preschooler’s age and skills. Students will learn the order of the musical alphabet, black and white notes on the piano, sing songs, and learn to count rhythms, all in a play-based setting. Graduate to Level 2 when you’re ready for more of a challenge. 

No home piano or practice is required.

Adults are recommended to stay for class (especially with 3-year-olds) but not required. 

Grand Avenue students will be picked up and dropped off from their classrooms by our teachers.

Level 1 Class Times:

  • Wednesday 1:55-2:25 FULL

  • Tuesday 5:30-6:00 FULL

  • Tuesday 6:00-6:30 FULL

  • Friday 2:25-2:55 FULL
