Once I submit the form, what happens next?

A member of our staff will email you with lesson time options that are available in the order that registration forms are received. The faster you reply, the greater chance of you getting the spot that you prefer.


Is there a waiting list?

Yes, if you are placed on a waiting list, we will contact you when/if a lesson time becomes available in the order we received registration forms.

Do I have to have a piano at home to take piano lessons?

Yes, you need to have an acoustic upright piano at home before you may begin piano lessons. Electronic keyboards are not suitable for our high level of piano education, so please don’t purchase anything that plugs in.

Don’t worry, you don’t have to find a piano on your own! Contact our office and we’ll help you find an instrument for your home and budget.

How do I get a violin or viola for strings lessons?

Our administrative staff will let you know how to get a violin/viola rental started. If you have a young beginner, they will likely begin lessons on a box violin to build up their strength and fine motor skills. Your teacher will tell you when it’s time to begin your rental. 

If you have an older student who is ready for a real violin, your teacher will assess them for the correct size of instrument and we will help you rent an instrument from Austin’s Violin Shop. Their instruments are delivered to our studio weekly.

When am I billed?

You are billed for your first month’s tuition, registration fee and music when you agree to a lesson time. Create or log in to your student account to add a credit card and make a payment. Tuition will be automatically charged to that payment method each month between September and May.

How do I set up automatic payments?

You don’t need to do anything to set up automatic payments. We take care of that for you. We just need a credit card on file that will be charged each month. You can change or update your payment method at any time by logging into your student account.
