There’s no “too young” at Mattix Music Studio. In fact, our current Youngest Student record is 2 weeks old! Students from birth through age five will love attending Music Together® classes with their favorite grownups. Sing, dance, play instruments and grow in our award-winning classes for young children. With four new music collections each year, you’ll never get tired of the engaging, rich and diverse music in each class.Ages 0-2
Music Together® – Birth-2 Years
Maximize your child’s neurological development with early childhood music education! Our teachers are specialists in preschool age curriculum and techniques. Students from birth through age five will love attending Music Together® classes with their favorite grownups. Sing, dance, play instruments and grow in our award-winning classes for young children. With four new music collections each year, you’ll never get tired of the engaging, rich and diverse music in each class. Exploring Music Level 1 is a perfect introduction to music education, designed specifically for your preschooler’s age and skills. Students will learn the order of the musical alphabet, black and white notes on the piano, sing songs, and learn to count rhythms, all in a play-based setting. Graduate to Level 2 when you’re ready for more of a challenge. Students as early as three may begin Suzuki piano or violin lessons at Mattix Music Studio. We specialize in training young children to learn an instrument in a playful, developmentally appropriate way. Students will have a weekly private lesson and weekly group class, accompanied by their Practice Parent. We are ready to help new Suzuki families every step of the way and no prior music knowledge or experience is required. Ages 2-4

Exploring Music: Level 1 Pre-K
Suzuki Method Piano & Violin Lessons: 3-18 Years
Early elementary school is a wonderful time to explore music and start learning an instrument!
Exploring Music Level 1 is a perfect introduction to music education, designed specifically for your preschooler’s age and skills. Students will learn the order of the musical alphabet, black and white notes on the piano, sing songs, and learn to count rhythms, all in a play-based setting. Graduate to Level 2 when you’re ready for more of a challenge. Exploring Music Level 2 is a diverse prep class for Kindergarteners, 1st and 2nd Graders that will get your child ready for private lessons or children’s choir down the road. Students will learn to play easy songs on the piano, sing do-re-mi, learn music symbols, and count rhythms in a play-based setting. Students may begin Suzuki piano, violin or viola lessons at Mattix Music Studio. We specialize in training children to learn an instrument in a playful, developmentally appropriate way. Students will have a weekly private lesson and weekly group class, accompanied by their Practice Parent. We are ready to help new Suzuki families every step of the way and no prior music knowledge or experience is required. Begin a more casual approach to music lessons that includes one private lesson per week. Students will receive 2-3 music books at their first lesson and work their way to increasingly more advanced pieces. Voice students may begin lessons at age 7, once their vocal chords are more developed. Ages 5-8

Students mature into intermediate levels and enjoy meaningful relationships with their teachers. Even older beginners may enroll in Suzuki piano, violin or viola lessons at Mattix Music Studio. Students will have a weekly private lesson and weekly group class with their peers. We are ready to help new Suzuki families every step of the way and no prior music knowledge or experience is required. Begin a more casual approach to music lessons that includes one private lesson per week. Students will receive 2-3 music books at their first lesson and work their way to increasingly more advanced pieces. Add private lessons to help your student keep up in school orchestra and choir. Ages 9-12

Transfer Suzuki students are welcome to join our strong community at any age. Students will have a weekly private lesson and weekly group class with their peers.
Traditional Method Piano, Violin, Viola & Voice Lessons: 5-18 Years
Begin a more casual approach to music lessons that includes one private lesson per week. Students will receive 2-3 music books at their first lesson and work their way to increasingly more advanced pieces. Add private lessons to help your student keep up in school orchestra and choir.
Try a new skill or brush up an old one for fun and relaxation! Adult students enjoy an easy-going pace and our compassionate teachers are happy to accommodate your style and interests. After work and weekend hours are available. Book one private lesson per week at a convenient time for your busy schedule. Beginners will receive one or two music books at their first lesson and experienced students are welcome to bring music they already have.
